Gallery Weekend Kuala Lumpur 2019 celebrates the fourth edition of this pioneering cultural marquee, showcasing quality creative talent in Malaysia. Join us for an immersive introduction to the best of culture in Kuala Lumpur.

Expecting more than thirty participants from commercial galleries, institutions, collections to special projects – GWKL 2019 presents cultural programming with a quality, eclectic vision of the multi-disciplinary. Features include large established institutions as well as museum shows. Commercial and grassroots galleries will reveal an exciting contemporary art world, intimately involved with the current political climate, community and urban settings. 2. Creating and Collecting The Craft - Borneo & Beyond

3. SHOWCASING THE CREATIVE – Biennials, Museums, Placemaking & Audience

Each luminary will present on their work for 15 minutes, covering areas of expertise and development. The presentations will be followed by a moderator-led panel discussion, with opportunity for audience participation.
The topic will approach the different avenues for presenting creative works, the support needed to make exhibitions and projects successful and consider the different measures of success.
